Job Summary

The Process Specialist is responsible for driving disciplined execution of supplier quality processes, including Preproduction Kickoff Meetings (PPKOM) and Supplier Nonconformance (MSN) management, to ensure alignment, defect prevention, and timely resolution of quality issues. This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented professional who leads structured technical meetings, captures clear and accurate documentation, and ensures all requirements, actions, and decisions are effectively tracked and executed.
The Process Specialist is accountable for managing supplier nonconformances and investigations, including root cause analysis, corrective actions, and performance metrics, to drive supplier accountability, continuous improvement, and reliable outcomes. Through rigorous follow-up and strict adherence to defined processes, the Process Specialist ensures timely closure of actions, alignment across stakeholders, and measurable improvements in supplier performance and equipment reliability.
This role also requires strong capability in Power BI and PowerApps to enhance data visibility, automate workflows, and improve process efficiency in support of SQE activities. Success in this position requires exceptional organizational discipline, a proactive and results-driven mindset, and the ability to influence and hold both internal stakeholders and external suppliers accountable to commitments, ensuring consistent execution and delivery of high-quality outcomes.

Job Description

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead Structured Meetings and Documentation. Drive Follow-Up, Accountability, and Closure.
  • Manage Supplier Nonconformances (MSN) and Investigations, Data-Driven Performance and Continuous Improvement.
  • Digital Tools and Process Optimization.

Education:

  • Minimum Required: Some college - Applied Science, Business, or a related discipline
  • Preferred Level: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

Experience:

  • Minimum Required: 3-5 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, quality systems, or operations, leading cross-functional alignments, and managing nonconformance investigations.
  • Preferred Level: 3-5 years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing, quality systems, or operations, with demonstrated experience in driving process execution, facilitating structured meetings, coordinating cross-functional activities, and resolving supplier-related issues.

Skills:

  • Minimum Required: Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong process discipline. Demonstrated ability to lead structured meetings, document outcomes, and drive actions to completion. Experience managing supplier quality processes, including nonconformance resolution, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. Strong ability to track actions and hold stakeholders accountable. Data-driven mindset with experience using tools such as Power BI (or similar) to track performance and drive decisions. Exposure to workflow automation tools (e.g., PowerApps) is a plus. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to clearly communicate expectations, influence outcomes, and work across teams. Familiarity with continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
  • Preferred Level: Proven ability to lead cross-functional and supplier engagements, ensuring alignment and execution of deliverables. Strong capability in data analytics and reporting, including Power BI dashboards and PowerApps workflow solutions. Proven ability to influence and drive accountability across internal stakeholders and suppliers, ensuring commitments are met. Solution-oriented, process-driven execution. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and supplier performance management is advantageous. Knowledge of industry standards is a plus.
