The Technical Part:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technical related field and five plus (5+) years of exposure within the Pharmaceutical or Medical Device Industry. 
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills (English and Spanish) 
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferable) 
  • Shift: Administrative & according to business needs.
  • Experience in:
    • Construction processes, building codes, and regulations
    • Experience in GMP manufacturing, LEAN, automation, construction quality, project controls, safety, and scheduling

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

  • Act as the owner's representative, ensuring that the project aligns with the owner's vision and requirements.
  • Lead and manage manufacturing capital project consisting of both internal and external professionals to safely achieve project objectives from conceptual design through operational verification.
  • Supervise the construction of the building's process trains and clean utilities, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.
  • Manage and oversee the construction of the pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, ensuring that all aspects of the project are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Be on-site 4 days a week to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure that all work is being performed according to the project plan.
  • Provide feedback and comments on change orders, ensuring that any modifications are necessary, cost-effective, and do not compromise the project's integrity.
  • Develop and maintain safety and environmental execution plans for projects and ensure compliance to safety and environmental policies, procedures, and work rules.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication with the project team, governance teams, business partners and other stakeholders, and facilitate issue resolution.
  • Conducting regular site walkdowns to review quality and progress and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Monitor project costs, manage budgets, report on financial status, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
