Position Summary:
The Process Improvement Manager is responsible for describing, training, implementing, and improving Supply Chain’s way of working in terms of processes, organization, tools, people. In this position, you will work closely with stakeholders throughout the Supply Chain domains in Vanderlande to develop digital solutions utilizing data analytics, digital process automations and artificial intelligence and machine learning. You are part of the North American Supply Chain Transformation Excellence Office which supports the North American Supply Chain Center.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Describe Supply processes sourcing, procurement, ordering and physical distribution, procedures, tools, and templates in close cooperation with the (Delegated) Process Owner(s) for Supply within Vanderlande
- Maximize standardization of Supply processes, implement and train
- Manage, align, and implement process improvements within Supply, but also with other disciplines
- Represent Supply Chain in IT Change projects, define process requirements and guide changes
- Perform data analysis tasks such as building reports, identifying trends, and making recommendations based on findings
- Communicate with management regarding research findings, presenting reports in written or verbal format, and providing recommendations for action based on findings
- Develop and lead a regional key user network to support this role
- Conduct surveys to collect information about customer preferences or satisfaction with products or services
- Maintain relationships with senior management and counterparts in Global Supply Chain to further develop, execute and improve this role
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand and maintain focus on their analytical needs, including identifying critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers
- Support group lead by evaluating strengths and weaknesses and identifying team training needs.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Knowledge of products and tools used for industrial automation
- Intermediate Excel, Python, R, SQL, PowerBI
- English Language
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in related field
- Prior experience in the material handling systems industry or similar project-based industries
- Six Sigma black belt
