We are looking for our Process Equipment Module Owner 1 & 2 M/F/X for our Greenfield Project in Germany. You will be responsible for the design, budgeting, construction, and commissioning support for the modules as assigned.
This is a remote role for the first months (until beginning of July 2025), where you will be working from home. Afterwards, you will work with the project team on-site. You will report to the Engineering Lead. Join this exciting assignment for a permanent contract. A relocation bonus is offered if a move is necessary.
If you possess a strong engineering and technical background, have good knowledge in potato processing, and have in-depth knowledge of process equipment technology, including equipment operation and maintenance, we encourage you to apply. Take the next step in your career with us.
Key responsibilities:
- You design the development and the verifications.
- You are responsible for budget development.
- You develop the schedule.
- You are the point of contact for outside consultants and other McCain team members.
- You identify risks and opportunities within your modules as they fit into the overall project.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Engineering & Technical background.
- Industry Knowledge:
- Good knowledge in potato processing and FMCG background would be an advantage for the role.
- In-depth understanding of process equipment technology, including operation and maintenance.
- Technical Expertise:
- Experience in integrating various process equipment into a cohesive production system.
- Proficiency in creating and managing detailed project plans and schedules.
- Skilled in creating and monitoring budgets.
- Competence in leading and coordinating installation teams and maintenance personnel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
- Communication and Problem-Solving:
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with various teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to solve complex technical problems related to processing equipment.
- Creativity in developing new solutions and process improvements.
- Regulatory and Software Knowledge:
- Understanding of relevant regulations and standards in process equipment and quality management.
- Experience with CAD for planning and designing process equipment.
- Familiarity with monitoring and analysis software to track equipment performance.
- Additional Advantage:
- Knowledge of specific requirements and challenges in food production is a plus.
