High Level Statement of the Role
The “Engineer III” is responsible to ensure the quality and productivity of the manufacturing of processes on a day-to-day basis within the framework of the quality, safety and environmental systems. Responsible to support the NPI activities according the Engineering procedure as well as continuous improvement to accomplish the goals at KEMX following al customer and internal requirements.
High Level Roles & Responsibilities
- Understand, support and follow our quality system at KEMX, beside deep knowledge of the following standard like ISO 9001,14001, IATF,16949,13485, safety and environment.
- Create, analyze and implement Engineering changes activities.
- Analyze, understand and meet customer requirement thru the design package using documents, drawing, CAD, Gerber file, etc.
- Define, implement and update documentation like, PFD, PFMEA, WI, OCI, Formats, Etc.
- Define, monitor and optimize new and existing processes, or new technologies through benchmark, evaluations to optimize their performance.
- Create, update & optimize the preventive and predicted maintenance for equipment's under engineering.
- Buy new equipment according with VAD (VALUE ADD DEVELOPMENT) for a new project
- Run process validation, analyze and file an analysis to conclude the achieve results to meet customer requirement.
- Support and participate root cause analysis and corrective action on time.
- Execute and follow up reaction plan and troubleshoot equipment down accordingly.
- Provide fast/effective solutions for problems affecting our engineering department.
- Follow up and meet target dates on time for those action time assigned.
- Improve new or existing process to achieve goals thru Lean - 6 sigma projects focus into the KPI's indicators.
- Improve new or existing process to achieve goals thru Kaizens focus into the KPI's indicators.
- Provide operative or product cost reduction based in our saving goal.
- Support technician training ramp up and maintain cross training maintenance matrix.
- Share lessons learn internally and across KEI.
