A Taste of Your Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert and trainer for line and operations team resources, using personnel and contractor support as needed.
- Oversee the production line centerline management system, including identifying centerline points and establishing standards.
- Partner with plant facilities and maintenance teams on improvement projects that require site support or impact site accountability.
- Coordinate focused improvement work with plant personnel, team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely completion of improvement projects.
- Lead the identification and prioritization of loss elimination activities through Daily Direction Meetings.
- Coordinate start‑up activities and training education associated with improvement initiatives.
- Communicate progress updates on assigned improvement work to key stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization.
- Manage assigned Daily Management Systems assessments for the plant.
- Develop manufacturing processes that meet specific consumer and marketplace requirements for new products while achieving process, quality, and cost targets.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to anticipate, assess, and mitigate operational risk.
- Provide direct oversight to assigned teams, administer discipline, and ensure consistent application of policies and procedures.
- Provide back‑up coverage for front‑line supervisors, including flexibility to support off shifts and weekends when needed.
Ingredients Required for Your Success
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, food engineering, biological engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in process engineering or industrial engineering (in a manufacturing environment preferred).
- Experience using continuous improvement and statistical tools.
- Strong problem‑solving skills to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw sound conclusions.
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and effective communication skills.
- Project management experience preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification preferred.
Compensation
Pay Range:$64,000-$95,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
