- Develop, qualify, and continuously improve quality and manufacturing processes, procedures, and best practices; ensure adoption through effective training and communication.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends and lead root cause analysis for internal non-conformances and customer complaints, implementing sustainable corrective actions to drive year-over-year defect reduction.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process and productivity enhancements that increase throughput, reduce scrap and waste, and lower overall cost, including Cost of Quality (COQ).
- Support and apply Lean principles to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and sustain operational excellence.
- Serve as the primary Quality interface with Engineering, Sales, Materials, and Marketing to proactively resolve manufacturing issues and improve product and process performance.
- Track and analyze customer complaints and internal non-conformances, developing and implementing effective countermeasures to support defect reduction and improved process capability.
- Participate in capital planning efforts, including appropriation requests and implementation of new technologies to improve manufacturing capability and reduce non-conformances.
- Support cost reduction initiatives, including annual savings targets, through data-driven analysis and process improvements.
- Support and promote a strong safety culture while contributing to key operational goals, including Safety, Quality, Delivery/Lead-time, Cost/Inventory Management, and Customer Satisfaction.
