Job Purpose

This role will be responsible for the process system design and delivery of large-scale transformation project within HC. Ensuring that the process design is in line with standard design and global best practices. The candidate will be a key member of a large project team and will be expected to play key role on the project successful delivery.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead process project in HC, including process equipment design, installation, commissioning & hand over.
  • Work as process expert, providing process expertise to project team and production team to achieve operation targets in area of process.
  • Work closely with engineering and Factory engineering, ensuring the project implemented is in line with Unilever standards and Best Practice.
  • Ensure hygienic design principles are followed.
  • Ensure that factory layout for a range of products considers optimal flow of material and people to minimize handling and transportation distances.
  • Ensure that the capacity assumptions for all storage vessels, pumps, lines, flow meters, weighers, mixers, heat exchangers and all other processing equipment for a range of products are correct for achieving the required Batch Cycle Times and factory capacities.
  • Ensure that the design of the bulk finished product storage and transfer system is capable of meeting packing requirements and factory run strategy.
  • Lead HAZOP studies in specified areas of the factory to ensure safety in design.
  • Ensure Process Safety design, and zero incident execution.

Candidate Criteria
Experience & Qualification

  • University or higher level degree in Chemical, Pharmaceutica Engineering
  • More than three years experience in engineering, manufacturing engineering and process engineering
  • Process improvement and production efficiency improvement
  • Experience in HAZOPs and Safety Approval Systems
  • Project Management experience

Skill

  • Unilever core design understanding
  • Knowledge of process control hardware and software
  • Knowledge of GMPs, Hygiene design, Compliance and Regulatory requirements is essential
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a high-paced team-oriented environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office – Excel / Power Point and Word
  • Working knowledge on Engineering software - AutoCAD, Solid works, MS Project
