Salary Range: € 33.600 – € 46.200 gross per year

JOB PURPOSE

The Process Engineer is part of the Manufacturing Operations team and is responsible for providing technical support and driving process improvements within the Casalpusterlengo manufacturing site.
This role is key to developing the factory according to World Class Manufacturing (WCM) principles, focused on achieving zero defects, zero waste, and zero losses.
The Process Engineer applies a broad range of Focused Improvement and Quality Improvement methodologies and tools to eliminate identified losses across the areas of Safety, Quality, Cost Deployment, Customer Service, and Logistics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with Factory, Engineering, Production, Safety, and Quality teams to eliminate losses, reduce waste, and improve manufacturing performance.
  • Identify, propose, and support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and operational efficiency.
  • Analyse workflows and process performance data to design, implement, and validate process enhancements.
  • Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of improvements and identify new opportunities.
  • Participate in daily production meetings and develop reports on process status, implemented changes, and achieved results.
  • Support innovation projects, including the assessment of factory capabilities, production lines, and equipment requirements.
  • Drive digitalisation initiatives and the implementation of digital solutions across manufacturing operations.
  • Act as a technical coach and trainer, developing line teams' capabilities in root cause analysis, problem-solving, and process improvement methodologies.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and performance indicators to support decision-making.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English language.
  • Excellent organisational skills, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously, with strong prioritisation and time management capabilities.
  • Proactive approach, ability to work independently, and strong team-oriented mindset.
  • Positive attitude and results-oriented approach. Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills, with attention to detail.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fast learner with an open mindset and a strong commitment to personal and professional development (growth mindset).
  • Data-driven mindset, with the ability to use data to formulate recommendations and drive process improvements.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies such as WCM,
  • Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma is considered an advantage.
