About the Role:

As a Process Engineer within the Automotive Glass Manufacturing Industry, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing and enhancing manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality product delivery and operational efficiency. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
  • Proven experience in process engineering within a manufacturing or consumer support environment.
  • Strong knowledge of process simulation tools and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in process control techniques and manufacturing operations.
  • Experience with statistical analysis software such as Minitab.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience working in consumer goods manufacturing or support services.
  • Familiarity with advanced process automation and control systems.
  • Demonstrated success in scrap reduction and waste management projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and product quality.
  • Conduct process simulations and modeling to predict and enhance process performance.
  • Implement process control strategies to maintain consistent production standards and reduce variability.
  • Analyze production data using statistical tools such as Minitab to identify trends and root causes of scrap or defects.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing operations teams to troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at scrap reduction and waste minimization to support sustainability goals.
  • Document process changes and maintain detailed records to ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
  • Train and support production staff on new processes and best practices to ensure smooth implementation.
