Here’s the Gist:
In this role you will develop, qualify, and optimize Thin Film processes within Wolfspeed’s new state of the art, highly automated, Silicon Carbide Wafer Fab. The engineering team is expected to continuously improve processes and equipment to ensure exemplary device performance, yield, and quality, while partnering with Product Engineering and R&D to provide effective introduction of multiple industry-leading product and process introductions.
The Day-to-Day
Challenge the team to drive best in class technical performance, yield, and quality
Define and execute experiments using DoE methodology, analyzing data with sound statistical methodologies, all to drive process, efficiency, and quality improvements
Use skills in predictive failure mode identification and problem-solving, aligned to automotive standard methodologies, to benefit the introduction and sustaining of innovative technologies
Present technical data and project updates to peers and management in both casual and formal environments.
Travel occasionally to various manufacturing sites and vendor locations to learn and share knowledge
Exhibit strong communication and relationship building skills to ensure crisp execution on projects, with high efficiency and quality.
This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):
BS in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or Equivalent
Knowledge of processes and equipment used in semiconductor fabrication
Proficient in technical writing and presentations
