The Senior Process Engineer leads the development, optimization, and validation of manufacturing processes and equipment from pilot phase through full-scale production, serving as a technical expert and project lead to improve process capability, enhance product quality, drive operational efficiency, and ensure scalable, compliant manufacturing outcomes while supporting cross-functional collaboration and mentoring engineering teams.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead process development from pilot trials to full-scale production by defining process formulations, equipment requirements, and scalable manufacturing parameters (30%).

  • Evaluate and optimize existing processing methods, automation strategies, and production techniques to meet cost, quality, performance, and reliability targets (25%).

  • Compile and analyze process and material test data to establish control limits, material specifications, process variables, and quality standards across the production lifecycle (20%).

  • Investigate complex manufacturing issues, analyze nonconformance trends, implement corrective actions, and support continuous improvement and process consistency initiatives (15%).

  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, scientific teams, suppliers, and customers while mentoring engineers, developing documentation, and supporting technology implementations and equipment modifications (10%).

Representative Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

  • 6–10+ years of progressive experience in process or manufacturing engineering

  • Demonstrated success developing, scaling, and optimizing manufacturing processes

  • Deep expertise in process design, root cause analysis, SPC, and quality systems

  • Strong understanding of automation, process validation, and industrial safety standards

  • Proven ability to apply engineering judgment and data-driven problem-solving

  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences

  • Experience working cross-functionally in dynamic production environments

  • Commitment to mentoring, continuous improvement, and fostering a quality-focused team culture
