We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Process Engineer Intern to join our engineering team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in process engineering, working closely with experienced professionals on various projects that enhance our production efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities & Job Duties

  • Assist in the analysis and optimization of existing manufacturing processes.

  • Support the development and implementation of process improvements.

  • Conduct data collection and analysis to identify trends and performance metrics.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support process design and validation.

  • Participate in root cause analysis for process-related issues and recommend solutions.

  • Document findings and contribute to project reports and presentations.

  • Engage in safety and quality assurance initiatives to ensure compliance with standards.

  • Shadow and learn from experienced engineers to gain insights into process engineering best practices

Requirements

  • Must be able to start May 24th, 2027 and complete the entire 10 week program

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools

  • Ability to look at PMI programs

  • Strong understanding of automation design,  and continuous process improvement methodologies.

  • Basic understanding of process engineering principles and methodologies.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Detail-oriented with a strong ability to problem-solve.

  • Familiarity with CAD software or process simulation tools is a plus

  • Ability to determine ROI on automation and semi automation equipment

  • Able to work in our Greenfield facility 5 days a week and travel to the Echo Chicago headquarters as needed
