We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer to support the successful and reliable design, integration, and deployment of our system at our customer sites. Fourier engineers work in a hands-on, collaborative environment to solve problems and push progress forward. Qualified candidates should have prior hands-on experience working in an industrial company, helping to ensure customer success.
Roles and responsibilitiesResponsible for the Process Design of Fourier electrolyzer stackups
Responsible for planning, integrating, and ensuring compatibility at customer sites
Ensure that the Fourier Electrolyzer meets and exceeds customer safety and performance expectations
Design and prototype tools to help with deployment
Be able to effectively communicate, collaborate, and partner with the Engineering team to collect and analyze data to improve system performance
High level of problem-solving ability to quickly debug on-site issues
Required:
B.S. in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
8+ years of relevant experience
Hands-on work with gas and/or water piping and valve selection
Hands-on experience in the development and deployment of novel chemical systems
Solid understanding of Process Safety Management requirements (PHA; HAZOP)
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., API, ASME, OSHA, EPA)
Great communicator and execution ability in high-pressure situations
Willingness to frequently travel to customer sites
Preferred:
Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D) in Chemical Engineering or relevant field
Experience in the following areas:
Electrolyzer experience
Analyzing energy systems
Working with hydrogen or similar gases
Equipment commissioning experience at chemical facilities
