As a Process Engineer I here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a critical role in supporting and optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring high product quality, and driving operational efficiency. The role will require balancing between providing day-to-day production support and actively working on engineering projects. Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Provide production support for the Packaging manufacturing area (glass-to-metal seal and getter attach) to achieve output and yield goals. Typical start time is 7:30 am to 8:30 am.
- Address product and process quality issues, provide guidance to production assemblers, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Perform engineering tests, conduct process improvement projects, and prepare technical written reports for management and customers.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues, provide guidance to maintenance techs, and perform repairs and preventative maintenance as needed.
- Provide technical support for out-process operations and interface with external suppliers as needed.
- Work with production supervisors and leads, reduce bottlenecks in the line, and provide back-up production coverage as needed.
- Ensure work instructions, drawings, logs, and records are accurate and up to date.
- Train and certify production assemblers using a hands-on training approach.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
- 6+ months of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
- This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a “US Person” under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license).

PAY TRANSPARENCY
The annual base salary range for this position in California is $79,000 – $99,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
