We're looking for an Process Engineer, Electromechanical Systems to join the Snap Lab team!
What you’ll do:

Design, build, test, and qualify custom or semi-custom mechanisms and tools for processing and handling displays
-
Design mechanical fixtures for semiconductor and display processing tools
-
Serve as the process owner of semiconductor and display processing tools such as wafer bonders, automated part breaker, or pick and place machines
-
Program and optimize the use of metrology instruments such as optical measurement systems
-
Specify and construct mechanical test setups, and collect and analyze data
-
DFX, especially design for machining of metals and engineering plastics
-
Execution of technical presentations
-
Technical documentation including specifications, reports, etc.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
-
Knowledge of general semiconductor safety and cleanliness practices
-
Skilled at utilizing 3D CAD modeling software (e.g. SolidWorks, NX, etc.) for part and assembly design & analysis
-
Ability to own the projects; prioritize and manage time/resources while completing required research, design, test, analysis, validation and reviews in an autonomous manner
-
Ability to interpret design needs based on project requirements, priority, schedule, and budget
-
Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with management, cross-functional teams, outside resources and suppliers
-
Skilled in using Excel, JMP, and/or Matlab for data analysis
-
Troubleshooting, testing, and qualification of high reliability electromechanical systems
-
Can formulate multi-factor DOE plans and interpret the data
-
Skilled in creating and executing mechanical test plans, and able to do detailed and convincing data analysis and presentation of results

Knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
-
BS degree in mechanical engineering
-
3+ years working as a mechanical engineer
Preferred Qualifications:
-
MS/MEng degree in mechanical and/or systems engineering
-
5+ years working as a mechanical engineer in the semiconductor industry
-
Lean 6-sigma Black Belt certification
-
Experienced utilizing GD&T
-
Experience designing and qualifying pneumatic and motor-controlled automation systems
-
Experience designing vacuum chamber assemblies with pressure sensors and exhaust lines

Compensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):
The base salary range for this position is $138,000-$207,000 annually.
Zone B:
The base salary range for this position is $131,000-$197,000 annually.
Zone C:
The base salary range for this position is $117,000-$176,000 annually.
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
