JOB SUMMARY:  
Provides logistics improvement and continuous operational support by leveraging expertise in the purpose and functionality of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Ensures the correct and effective use of the WMS across operations. Leads the full WMS deployment at DMNC–Statesville and contributes to establishing a foundation for future automation initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Expand the scope of the WMS at DMNC‑Statesville.
2. Analysis of inventory variance factors and implementation of countermeasures
3. System planning and promotion utilizing WMS function
4. Visualization of inventory status and communication of over- and under-stocking information (logistics = > planner)
5. Work with WMS NA Support to maintain WMS

COMMUNICATION REQUIRED:
•Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
•Ability to present problems and improvement ideas internally and externally.
•Ability to negotiate with multiple internal and external parties regarding QCDSME for projects.
PROBLEM SOLVING AND ANALYSIS:
•Evaluating the effectiveness of current and future WMS distribution processes
•Identify opportunities for cost savings or process improvements within the logistics organization
•Maintain stable WMS operation by grasping the impact of volume fluctuations and environmental changes

JUDGMENT AND DECISION MAKING:
•Ability to judge the quality of WMS operation from inventory accuracy and operation rule compliance
•Ability to judge effectiveness of proposed improvements from QCDS perspective

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT/INNOVATION:
•Create a cycle count plan (Count loops, priority management categories, etc.) and drive the cycle count based on it
•WMS is managed and layout, system units based on volume fluctuations, and data are changed accordingly to ensure that actual inventory management that cannot be managed by CIGMA is performed correctly.
•Improve operation and inventory accuracy by effectively using WMS

Candidates residing 50+ miles from the work location are eligible for relocation assistance.  

Annual Salary: $62,000 - $77,000
