We are seeking a talented individual to join our Continuous Improvement team at Mercer. This role will be based in Warsaw (Poland). This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
We are looking for a highly experienced Process Efficiency leader with a strong track record in driving regional process improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Artificial Intelligence projects and a proven ability to collaborate with top leaders in a complex international environment. This role demands a strategic and influential professional who can lead transformation efforts, inspire senior stakeholders, and embed a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
We will count on you to:
- Lead regional process efficiency and improvement initiatives, working closely with senior leaders across multiple countries to drive measurable operational gains.
- Work with business team to identify improvement opportunities through extensive process diagnostics / Gemba walk
- Work with business to develop a multi-year roadmap for deploying transformation projects.
- Hands-on experience with drawing Value stream maps (VSM)
- Manage and execute AI-driven projects that enhance process automation, data insights, and decision-making capabilities.
- Build and sustain strong partnerships with top executives and stakeholders in an international setting, aligning process improvements with strategic business goals.
- Facilitate high-impact transformation workshops and meetings, challenging the status quo and fostering innovative thinking.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma and other continuous improvement methodologies to analyze processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Champion a lean culture and capability development through coaching, ideation, and structured project methodologies.
- Present complex findings and strategic recommendations clearly and persuasively to senior leadership.
What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of proven experience leading process efficiency and improvement initiatives at a regional or international level.
- Extensive hands-on experience with AI projects and their application in process transformation.
- Strong expertise in Lean Six Sigma methodologies, with relevant certifications (Green Belt, Black Belt, or Master Black Belt preferred).
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders in a global environment.
- Proficiency in Lean tools, Value Stream Mapping, data analysis software (e.g., Minitab, Excel), and AI/ML technologies.
