At CelLink, we’re rethinking how power and data move through next-generation systems—from electric vehicles to AI data centers. We’re looking for a motivated intern to support key process development and manufacturing initiatives, using data to drive real engineering decisions.

This is a hands-on opportunity to work alongside engineers on meaningful projects that directly impact product performance and manufacturing efficiency.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, variation, and opportunities for improvement
  • Track and report on key manufacturing and process performance metrics
  • Support engineering teams in running and documenting development trials
  • Build dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights clearly
  • Contribute to the development of standardized reporting and data-driven workflows
  • Present findings and recommendations to cross-functional teams

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Experience working with data (Excel, JMP, Python, or similar tools)
  • Basic understanding of statistics (e.g., variation, yield, process capability)
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly

Educational Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a full-time academic program at an accredited college or university.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in: Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior experience in a lab, manufacturing, or research environment
  • Exposure to data analysis, process optimization, or systems thinking

Working Conditions/Hours/Location

This role is an hourly position, and the intern will be required to work 40 hours per week during the summer. The start date and duration of the internship are flexible depending on availability, with a minimum commitment of 10 weeks.

Internship will take place onsite in San Carlos, CA

Physical Demands – Office and Manufacturing Environment

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands or finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee is required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms and pull/push; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds without assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment –

Includes both a typical office environment, with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues, and a shop environment, with exposure to high noise levels from operating machines, physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts, nuisance dust, and skin exposure to chemicals used to run/maintain machines.

PPE-

May be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to safety glasses, safety shoes, bump-caps, gloves, hair nets, masks, & clean-room frocks while adhering to the prescribed safety procedures.
