Bluecurrent is a leading provider of innovative smart metering services and solutions in New Zealand and Australia. As a B2B company, we partner with leading energy retailers and distributors in New Zealand and Australia.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Process designer to join our supportive and collaborative Metering Products and Services team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the documentation of current ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ processes to a set of standard rules and guidelines, named the ‘Process Excellence Framework’. This role will be integral to guarantee ‘Best in class’ process design and enable continuous process improvement through process re-engineering.
Key responsibilities include:
- Work alongside operational teams to document current processes, work instructions and provide training
- Assess current processes and propose process improvement through process re-engineering or system change
- Work closely with project teams to understand project objectives and assist business readiness and change management activities in whatever capacity is required.
- Work flexibly across varied complex topics, business units and stakeholders to re-engineer the Operational processes and associated artefacts.
- Work closely with other process designers to ensure consistent, accurate robust processes across the Process Excellence Framework.
- Propose feedback and improvement into the successful evolution and implementation of the Process Excellence Framework.
Who we are looking for
To be successful in this role you will ideally have a strong industry background in electricity or gas metering, you are proficient in process mapping, designing and business process reengineering. Your knowledge and experience of change management principles, methodologies and tools will be vital. Additionally, you will have:
- Lean Six Sigma yellow belt or above
- Effective meeting facilitation and communication skills
- Excellent active listening skills
- Problem solving and root cause analysis skills
- Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated through the ability to achieve outcomes
- Collaborative worker in a cross functional environment
