Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Data Analyst to join our Autodesk Purchasing Program Operations (PPO) team. In this role, you will analyze and generate meaningful insights from data, collaboratively design process improvement sessions, manage project timelines, implement automations, and deliver Hands-on-Training (HOT) sessions. Your expertise in data analytics & visualization using Generative AI/ML, process improvement via methods such as Lean for Finance, and Design Thinking, foster citizen development, project management, and change management is essential. You will help to drive our Finance Transformation and Automation to the next level of innovation and excellence. The position will report to Senior Manager, PPO Automation.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analytics:

    • Design and maintain dashboards with AI insights and visualization solutions to provide actionable insights to business units.

    • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.

  • Process Improvement:

    • Facilitate process improvement projects to simplify, standardize and sustain process excellence with quantified metrics driven approaches.

    • Utilize Value Stream Mapping to identify and optimize data flow and process efficiencies.

  • Project Management:

    • Manage and lead data, process, audit, and change related projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals and objectives.

    • Apply change management principles to implement and manage changes to data systems and processes effectively.

  • Product Management:

    • Oversee the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment with business goals, customer needs, and market trends while coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve successful product outcomes.

    • Utilize data to guide product decisions, focusing on customer insights, market trends, and performance metrics.

  • Change Management & Training:

    • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Artificial Intelligence, Agentic framework, data engineering, analytics, and visualization.

    • Aid Finance transformation and automation efforts, focusing on citizen development, digitization, and collaboration.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in industrial engineering, data science, engineering, or a related field.

  • At least 5 years of experience in data analytics and insights generation and process improvement.

  • Experience with automation tools such as Looker, Tableau, Alteryx, Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform and Power Automate or similar platforms.

  • Delivered successful outcomes in finance transformation, continuous improvement, and data, AI and automation technologies.

  • Strong understanding of Value Stream Mapping with ability to quantify and visualize waste, variation and overburden in the processes.

  • Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage projects from inception to completion.

  • Proven experience in change management and implementation of Finance system changes.

  • Ability to lead training sessions to contribute to building niche-training based on user needs.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a collaborative cross-geo, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
     

Other Skills

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Azure, AWS and SQL.

  • Experience of using Generative AI for process improvements and automation.

  • Expertise in Finance business processes management and automation tools, techniques and tactics.

  • Knowledge of business process management, process intelligence and process mining, tools such as UI Path, ARIS BPM, Celonis, process classification frameworks and approaches.

  • Awareness of product management tools such as Airtable, Productboard to manage product roadmaps and outcomes.

  • Global experience in driving change management projects using PROCI or similar methodologies.

  • Global cultural experience in driving change management projects.

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $82,900 and $143,000. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
