Tate & Lyle, a worldwide food and industrial ingredient company, is seeking a Process Control Technologist for a full time maintenance position.
The preferred candidate will have an ASEET / BSEET and 3 or more years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing process control setting.
The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and solving software / hardware controls issues throughout the plant. The preferred candidate will provide daily communication with other plant personnel through a plant wide computer system including email and SAP.
Qualifications include the following:
- Possession of a good safety minded attitude
- Communication skills and computer proficiency with MS Office products
- Proficiency with Microsoft Operating systems
- Sound ability to troubleshoot hardware issues in a client/server scenario
Experience in the following will be considered a plus:
- RSLogix programming in ladder and function block
- Factory Talk View SE programming
- RSLinx and RSLinx Enterprise
- Setup and troubleshooting of Variable Frequency Drives
- Setup and troubleshooting field instruments such as flow, level, pressure, pH
- Experience with OSI-Pi data historian
- Visual Basic programming
