Process Compliance Analyst

Purpose:

 The Process Control Analyst is responsible for strengthening the Company’s operational compliance and process-control environment. The position plans and prioritizes risk-based compliance reviews, evaluates control and process issues, and develops recommendations for corrective actions and process improvements. The role also monitors remediation activities, evaluates the effectiveness of implemented actions, maintains relevant process documentation, and collaborates with process owners and cross-functional teams to mitigate operational and compliance risks and promote efficient, consistent, and compliant business operations. 

Key Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned as needed):

• Compliance Enhancement 
  • Evaluate operational compliance with the company’s business policies, internal control requirements, and established business processes.
  • Lead process reviews or compliance audits by examining system data, supporting documentation, and information obtained through interviews with process owners and employees.
  • Perform compliance risk assessments and periodic reporting on monitoring activities, findings, and improvement initiatives.
  • Identify control gaps, process compliance issues, and process inefficiencies; evaluate the root causes and potential business impacts; and make recommendations for improvement. 
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to process owners and provide advisory leadership to mitigate the identified control deficiencies by collaborating with process owner team. 
  • Monitor the status of remediation actions and follow up with responsible departments to help ensure timely completion. Evaluate whether remediation action is adequately implemented and are sufficient to address identified compliance issues and prevent recurrence. 
  • Analyze existing business rules, and policies, procedures; recommend updates as needed.
• Process improvement
  • Interview staff and management to understand current workflows, assess process effectiveness, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyze business processes and develop practical workflow or process improvement recommendations to enhance efficiency, consistency, and control effectiveness.
  • Support the design, implementation, and monitoring of revised processes, procedures, and workflows.
  • Collaborate with process owners and cross-functional teams to address operational issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Process documentation
  • Create, update, and maintain policies, process guides, procedures, and other documents. 
  • Support the development and implementation of new business policies and procedures, as required.
• Other duties as assigned. 
  • Support ESG-related compliance, reporting, documentation, and improvement activities, as assigned. 
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in any field required; a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience as a Compliance Analyst, Process Analyst, or Internal Control is preferred.
• Advanced understanding of business functions, workflows, and processes
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience with SAP ERP or Warehouse management system preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify process gaps and recommend practical solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees and management at various levels. 
• Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships across all levels and functions.

Legal Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age due to federal labor law requirements.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Supervisory Responsibility: None

Working Conditions:

• Constant office setting
• Occasional use of stairs or uneven surfaces
• Rare requirement of use of PPE (safety shoes/ safety glasses)
• Constant use of computer and office equipment

Physical Requirements:

• Rare lifting, carrying, or pushing/pulling up to 10 lbs.
• Constant keyboarding
• Constant sitting and occasional walking

Remote Work: This position is not eligible for hybrid or remote work.
