Role description: 

  • Arcadis is seeking an experienced Low‑Code Application & Automation Developer to support our enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives. This role is central to designing, developing, and maintaining complex low‑code applications and automation solutions that streamline business processes and enhance operational efficiency across the organization.
  • We are looking for a proactive, detail‑oriented professional who excels in fast‑paced environments, collaborates effectively with diverse stakeholders, and brings strong technical expertise in Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) and enterprise automation technologies. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to translate business needs into scalable digital solutions are essential.

Role accountabilities: 

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain complex low‑code applications and automation solutions.
  • Partner with process owners to map existing workflows, gather detailed requirements, and translate them into scalable application designs.
  • Design, develop, and implement enterprise‑grade low‑code solutions using Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) and related automation technologies.
  • Integrate VBCS UI/UX with back‑end services such as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle ATP Database, OCI Queues, and potential Oracle Fusion integrations.
  • Ensure all solutions adhere to low‑code standards, guardrails, and global data and software governance requirements.
  • Build secure, maintainable, reusable, and enterprise‑ready applications that support consistent compliance across the organization.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform hotfixes, and validate post‑deployment functionality.
  • Partner with business teams, IT, data platforms, and third‑party vendors to identify automation opportunities and deliver end‑to‑end process improvements.
  • Support existing Power Automate solutions while architecting future‑state redesigns using enterprise‑approved technologies.
  • Manage incident and problem resolution, as well as service request queues, ensuring high levels of end‑user satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the delivery of scalable, stable, and high‑performing automation processes that meet enterprise demand.

Qualifications & Experience: 

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in enterprise low‑code application development and process automation.
  • Demonstrated success delivering automation solutions in a global, multi‑national, multi‑vendor environment.
  • Hands‑on experience with Oracle VBCS, automation tools, and enterprise integration technologies.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience managing incidents, service requests, and production support activities.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize digital solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with both technical and non‑technical audiences.

  • Exposure to agile development methodologies.
  • Understanding of application security, compliance, and data governance best practices.
  • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle ATP DB, OCI Queues, or Oracle Fusion integrations. 
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate and enterprise automation platforms
