Overview of the job

As a key member of our central IT team that manages process automation solutions globally, you will be working closely with various product and platform teams spanning across Asia, EMEA and the Americas. You will also lead the Change Control Tower, DevOps, innovation, and governance topics surrounding Blue Prism primarily, but other technology ecosystems such as Workato, Microsoft Azure and Power Platform as well.

You will report to the Process Automation Senior Manager within the GBS OSS Planning Automation Platform team. On top of being part of a winning team that will help you grow both your business and technical capabilities, you will also have many opportunities to lead projects across the world. We do this through close team collaboration and integrating multiple automation technologies together to deliver business value at scale.

Responsibilities of the role

  • Incorporating Agile and DevOps methodologies throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
  • Converting requirements into robust and scalable solutions that deliver value to all stakeholders.
  • Partnering with multi-functional teams to ensure solutions are well supported and to deliver changes as necessary.
  • Ensuring all solutions operate with minimal issues via activities such frequent proactive testing and change management.
  • Looking out for opportunities to improve the team’s internal capabilities and work processes using the various tools available to us.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest software best practices, automation technologies and risks that could impact the team and platform.
  • Serving as a well-rounded technical expert to product teams to evaluate use cases, architect solutions and deliver on key business priorities on time.
  • Applying technical expertise to lead projects such as SAP S4 HANA upgrades, automated testing, mass migrations and other value creation/protection initiatives.

Job Qualifications

Role Requirements

  • 3+ years of working on Blue Prism and/or other process automation technologies.
  • Excellent managerial and communication skills to effectively manage a wide variety of different projects, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Deep practical experience with designing, developing, and supporting Blue Prism robots is mandatory.
  • Proficiency with SAP GUI Scripts, Workato Workflow Apps, Azure Logic Apps, Power Apps, Power Automate, SQL, VB and C# are preferred.
  • Strong IT fundamentals within the Solution Management, Project Management, Operations, Security, Architecture and Data domains.
