Summary
The Quality Auditor is responsible for the overall quality of the Product being produced i.e. Trailers, Wiring Harness, etc. This person ensures that all options and functions are checked and operating correctly along with ensuring the Product meets the cosmetic criteria.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Look at the overall cosmetic quality and presence of required components of the Product Assembly
- Aduit specific processes to ensure product parameters are being met
- Perform a full functional test on the Product i.e. Wiring Harness, etc.
- Ensure all options are in the Product in accordance with the Order/Bill of Material
- Record all data into Quality Tracking System
- Audit various Sub-Assemblies or other processes, as assigned
- Be able to work in all areas of the factory to audit the product
Other duties may be assigned to ensure quality of the product

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED; Two years or more experience in Manufacturing and/or Assembly is desirable
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
