As part of the Global Supply Chain Process and Systems team, the role works closely with the business users and other stakeholders to support the definitions of the global Logistics process and system standards and optimisation i.e. Logistics EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), delivery management platforms, enabling end-to-end logistics including last mile delivery operations.
This is a global role and is expected to be very autonomous in supporting and working with teams to deliver solutions.
About the roleSupport Logistics COE to perform problem investigation, evaluation, and solution implementation.
Information and data gathering on system pain points, work with users on problem statements and value identification.
Carry out system evaluation including industry research as required.
Participate and support implementation activities including documentation e.g. use cases and user stories, process design, system specifications, preparation of workplan, work packages, capturing minutes as well as follow-up actions with the assigned owners.
Map/ update current processes and 3PL Logistics region/ market operations journeys.
Create/ update the RACI charts, process documentation e.g. business requirement definitions, process catalogue, process specifications.
Create/ update the process and systems onboarding documentation.
Support the on-going run of logistics systems including troubleshooting, perform root-cause analysis, incident resolutions, enhancement, and testing activities.
Presenting system incidents and resolutions to key stakeholders. Support demand management and prioritisation as required.
Produce regular key performance indicator reporting, track, and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of Logistics processes and system utilisation.
Tertiary education in supply chain management, information technology, or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of experience in Logistics and warehousing operations, preferably have worked in the third-party logistics (3PL) setting or organisations e.g. DHL.
Good experience in documentation, mapping of the business processes, understanding the process hierarchy, including dependencies across processes and systems.
Preferably proficiency in SAP Logistics/ EDI, Signavio, Delivery Management Platform such as Aftership/ Centiro/ ParcelLab or alternatively in other Logistics systems.
Strong experience in project delivery lifecycle, understanding key stages of required work and activities i.e. requirement gathering.
Demonstrated ability to work with the cross-functional teams, including IT, business process owners, and other stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, self-driven with the ability to offer solutions to problems.
Proven experience in change management initiatives and collaborating with IT teams to deploy technology solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to end-users and other stakeholders.
Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple competing priorities.
