Process and I&C Engineer 1

Amentum is seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented engineer to support our Denver Colorado Engineering Design Team.  

The engineering team you would be joining includes licensed professional engineers that are recognized as technical experts in nuclear energy, nuclear waste treatment, radioactive waste cleanup, environmental management, PFAS remediation and advanced energy solutions.  Amentum provides integrated project lifecycle capabilities, operational excellence, consulting services, engineered solutions, best in class leaders and a reputation for delivery.

As a Amentum process/I&C engineer you would be responsible for utilizing your process/I&C knowledge to support conceptual, preliminary and detailed design projects.  We are looking for engineers with a proven track record working with both process/I&C technologies and your peers.  We are looking for individuals with interest in joining a team of Process and Instrumentation & Control System engineers.  Chemical engineers, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers are all welcome to apply!

This engineering position will provide you with an opportunity to build on what you know and apply your skills to bring advanced engineering and technology solutions to the most significant challenges in science, security and sustainability.

Minimum Requirements

• Must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited university
• 0 to 3 years of relevant professional experience
• Previous internships with an engineering firm
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Position may require travel
• Due to the nature of work, candidate must be a US Citizen.
• Dual Citizenship not accepted.

 Preferred Qualifications

• EIT Certification or scheduled to take FE in the next 6 months
• Field experience including engineering construction support, startup and commissioning
• Knowledge of quality requirements such as NQA-1

Compensation 
The annual starting salary/ hourly rate for this position is between $70K to $88K annually.  Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, 
education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
