Technical Business Owner

Reports to: Director of ESPE / Technical Leadership 

Supervises: May mentor or guide Tier 1 TBOs, analysts, and technical contributors. Collaborates extensively with QA, Data Engineering, EPMO, OCM, and Product stakeholders. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Lead solution design for system integrations, data flows, and enterprise architecture improvements. 

• Create advanced UML diagrams, sequence flows, and technical architecture blueprints to guide engineering teams. 

• Oversee end-to-end API lifecycle management including design, validation, testing, and governance. 

• Define and enforce data lineage and data quality frameworks, ensuring enterprise-grade accuracy and compliance. 

• Actively deploy and coordinate enablement of agentic and generative AI agents across workflows and business functions. 

• Partner with QA to establish automation frameworks and define robust acceptance criteria. 

• Provide technical leadership for cross-functional projects, supporting escalations and complex troubleshooting. 

• Serve as an architectural advisor to stakeholders, ensuring proposed changes align with enterprise standards. 

• Mentor Tier 1 TBOs and support their development in systems design, technical communication, and AI awareness. 

• Contribute to ESPE’s long-term vision of intelligent automation and scalable AI adoption. 

Required Experience/Qualifications: 

• 7+ years of experience in systems integration, enterprise architecture, or technical product ownership. 

• Proven expertise in systems architecture, microservices, and cloud-native integration patterns. 

• Advanced proficiency in API design, validation, and governance frameworks. 

• Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Python, and data pipeline design. 

• Ability to create and validate complex UML, BPMN, and sequence diagrams. 

• Proven record of deploying AI-driven automation or intelligent agents within enterprise workflows. 

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. 

Desirable Experience/Qualifications: 

• Experience in telecommunications or SaaS enterprise environments. 

• Familiarity with MS 365 CRM, ServiceNow, Power BI, Informatica, and workflow automation platforms. 

• Hands-on knowledge of machine learning operations (MLOps) or AI deployment pipelines. 

• Certifications in enterprise architecture (TOGAF), data management (CDMP), or cloud platforms (Azure/AWS). 

• Background in compliance-heavy industries and understanding of regulatory requirements for data systems. 

• Demonstrated success mentoring technical teams or leading architecture reviews. 

Hours/Travel/Shift: 

• Standard business hours, with flexibility to support cross-time zone collaboration. 

• Occasional travel may be required (<10%), depending on projects. 

• Hybrid/remote work arrangement based on local office policy.
