Australia’s $2.7 trillion superannuation industry is facing increasing regulatory pressure, evolving technologies, changing demographics and rising member expectations. In response, AustralianSuper is implementing a new member service model, creating an exciting opportunity for a Process Analyst to play a key role in shaping future state processes across the Member Domain.
Your New Role
Reporting to the Process Design Lead, you will support the design and delivery of end-to-end processes that enable operational readiness and improved member experiences. You’ll work closely with a wide range of stakeholders to analyse current processes, design future state workflows and support the successful implementation and adoption of new ways of working.
Key duties include but are not limited to;
- Analyse current processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks and areas for improvement, designing future state processes aligned to member journeys.
- Engage with business users to capture existing processes and systems, incorporating frontline insights to improve usability.
- Use Nintex Process Manager to visually represent workflows, identifying optimisation opportunities across the end-to-end lifecycle.
- Capture regulatory obligations, business rules and operational controls and translate them into clear procedural documentation.
- Ensure outputs are usable across stakeholder groups including Risk, Knowledge Management and operational teams.
- Design and document standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions and supporting materials for BAU execution.
- Support end-to-end delivery of process initiatives including requirements, design, testing and implementation.
What You’ll Need
- Proven experience (3+ years) in a Process Analyst or similar role within financial services.
- Strong experience in end-to-end process design, process mapping and operational implementation.
- Knowledge of risk management frameworks and embedding controls into process design.
- Ability to interpret complex documents (e.g. legislation, contracts) and apply to process design.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience working in project or program environments from requirements through to implementation.
- Ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively across teams.
- Experience supporting change, adoption and continuous improvement initiatives.
Please note this is a 12-month fixed-term contract
