Under the supervision of the Manager, Rehabilitation Services, the Physical Therapist (PT) evaluates and treats patients, communicates to referral sources and provides daily documentation and marketing services. This role requires someone who is highly skilled, adaptable and eager to helping patients improve mobility and quality of life. As a PT, you will hone your skills in developing treatment plans, executing goals and collaborating with patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.

  

A caregiver in this position works 8:00AM — 4:30PM.  

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

  • Complete patient related and non-patient related documentation in a timely manner. 
  • Delegate and supervise the patient care of PTAs, support staff and students. 
  • Market services to patients, referral sources, and the public. 
  • Form and maintain positive interpersonal relationships with patients and staff.  
  • Organize work assignments and time, without compromising quality patient care, to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency. 
  • Achieve personal and professional development through participation in continuing education, in-services, orientation programs and student programs. 
  • Maintain an orderly and safe work environment.  
  • Keep treatment areas and department clean and orderly. 
  • Complete mandatory education and training to maintain organization and department specific competencies and requirements. 
  • Maintain applicable certification/licensure. 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy. 
  • Physical Therapy current license to practice in Ohio
  • CPR certification

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Previous PT experience
