The Identity and Access Management (IAM) team is part of Information Security in CG’s Information Technology Group. Capital Group is building an integrated cloud platform, built on AWS, that provides features such as a container runtime environment, CI/CD, and observability, with the goal of making it easy for our developers to build great software to power our business.

As a PAM Engineering Manager, you will work as a collaborative team of IAM engineering managers to drive engineering strategy, roadmap, design, and implementation and partner with external ITG teams to accomplish IAM initiatives. You will lead a team of engineers to drive the technical strategies to help Capital’s business and application teams to securely meet Capitals cloud migration goals. You will work closely with engineering, design, and other engineering and product managers to deliver these features, identifying key metrics to measure success, and iterating on your platform solutions to provide business value.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent experience
• You are an experienced IAM Engineer, with 7+ years of experience in related field, familiar with engineering platform products for an enterprise audience.
• You have working knowledge of the software development process as well as solutions design concepts related to security platforms and are passionate about improving the business and ITG user experience.
• You have experience identifying and tracking key product metrics, gathering user feedback, and iterating on product features based on these inputs.

• Proven experience in technical engineering and operations, both on-prem and in cloud platforms and Identity and Access Management solutions, including but not limited to: Privileged Access Management and IAM solutions.
• Strong experience in engineering security and identity and access management systems such as RSA, CyberArk, Centrify, Varonis, StrongDM and privileged access workstations
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly products.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, and experience in collaborating with diverse set of stakeholders.
• Strong people management skills with ability to actively promote associate development, engagement and teamwork
• Current experience with project management skills managing cross-team efforts between IT and business

Southern California Base Salary Range: $166,551-$266,482

San Antonio Base Salary Range: $136,918-$219,069

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
