Job Requirements
We are seeking a junior to mid-level associate (with a minimum of one year of experience) with a proven track record in sophisticated estate planning for high-net-worth individuals and families, trust and estate administration, and gift, estate, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning. This is a hands-on role for someone ready to hit the ground running in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

has prior experience in a fast-paced law firm setting working on trust and estate matters.
is in good standing with the Texas Bar, or eligible for admission to the Texas Bar.

may have an LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning (strongly preferred, though not required if the candidate otherwise has a solid trusts and estates background).
Representative Experience
Designing and drafting complex estate planning documents, including Wills, revocable trust agreements, and irrevocable trust agreements.
Drafting documents to transferring stock, business interests, and real estate.
Managing complex trust and estate administrations.
Drafting trust modifications, decantings, mergers, nonjudicial settlement agreements, and trust terminations.
Conducting sophisticated legal research and analysis involving multijurisdictional and occasionally cross-border estate planning considerations.
