Business Unit Overview:

Blackstone Private Wealth (BXPW) was established to answer the growing demand for Blackstone products from high-net worth investors. Partnering with many of the world’s largest private banks and wealth management firms as well as family offices, Blackstone’s Private Wealth Solutions team packages and delivers the full breadth of Blackstone’s alternative product capability to these firms and their clients and provides ongoing product and advisor support, as well as education and training around alternatives.

Job Title: Investor Services, Analyst/Associate/Vice President

Job Description:

  • Drive the firm‑wide fund onboarding working group as a project manager for Blackstone open-ended and closed-end funds with onshore and offshore distribution platforms, including creating, updating, and maintaining task trackers, distributing meeting summaries, and conducting offline follow-ups

  • Set up and ensure that operational services are effectively delivered to clients and internal/external business partners

  • Provide daily client servicing primarily to Operational/Product oversight functions at distributors, local asset managers, and fund administrators, while interacting closely with internal Business Units: Blackstone Private Wealth (BXPW); Private Equity; Credit; Hedge Funds; Life Science and Real Estate

  • Conduct daily troubleshooting with minimal oversight, while remaining well connected with the relevant teams

  • Plan and execute various project and initiatives

  • Actively support team members to maintain the team’s high performance with a flexible mindset

Qualifications:

Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who work well in a team-driven working group, are highly motivated, intelligent, demonstrate sound judgment, and have demonstrated excellence in their prior endeavors. The successful candidate must have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 1+ year(s) for Analyst, 4+ years for Associate, 7+ years for VP, of financial industry experience; fund/distributor onboarding, project management, or client services experience is preferred but not required

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and English; Korean is a plus

  • An understanding of fund structuring and operating models is desirable

  • Familiarity with fund documents is a plus

  • Knowledge of alternative investment is preferred but not required

  • Strong technical and analytical skills

  • Strong problem analysis and resolution skills; identify and summarize issues

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with sound logical reasoning

  • Demonstrated performance at a high level within an entrepreneurial culture with a focus on excellence in a deadline‑driven environment

  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently

  • Highly driven and proactive to take initiative

  • Capacity to work independently on assigned pre‑existing items in a team‑oriented environment

  • Skill in developing strong working relationships with colleagues, teams, and clients

  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook; Adaptability to Systems, Tools, and Change; Process‑Oriented, System‑Aware Thinking

  • Relevant local Financial Product Sales licenses are a plus
