Job Description

The Analyst Program is a two-year, full-time employment program for early-career professionals looking to build a long-term career in private markets. Following a tailored three-week training module, Analysts join the Product & Client Solutions team and develop their skills through structured, hands-on experience. Strong performers may have the opportunity to continue their career at LGT Capital Partners as an Associate.

The position is available in Pfäffikon (SZ), Switzerland, near Zurich. The anticipated start date is 1 July 2027.

The Product & Client Solutions (PACS) team connects our investment management teams with relationship managers and clients. The team supports the development and positioning of private markets investment solutions and contributes to capital-raising activities throughout a fund’s lifecycle. Its responsibilities include preparing marketing and client materials, coordinating responses to client inquiries, conducting market and portfolio analysis, and ensuring consistent communication across internal and external stakeholders.

As an Analyst in the PACS team, you will build your knowledge of the different private markets asset classes while developing practical skills in product positioning, market and portfolio analysis, client communication, and project coordination. Working alongside experienced colleagues across PACS, investment management, relationship management, and other specialist functions, you will support product- and client-related activities, gain exposure to different investment strategies and capital-raising initiatives, and take on increasing responsibility throughout the program.

In this role, you will contribute to a range of product- and client-related activities across the private markets investment lifecycle, including:

  • support the preparation and updating of presentations, marketing materials, and due diligence questionnaires for private markets offerings;
  • assist with market research, competitor analysis, and portfolio-related analysis;
  • help prepare tailored client materials and coordinate responses to inquiries from relationship managers, clients, and prospective clients;
  • collect, review, and structure information from investment teams and other internal stakeholders;
  • support the coordination of capital-raising initiatives, meetings and internal projects;
  • assist with maintaining accurate and consistent product and fund information across materials and data sources;
  • collaborate with investment management, investment controlling, legal, compliance, and relationship management teams;
  • gradually take ownership of defined workstreams and deliverables as your knowledge and experience develop.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates with:

  • strong academic credentials from a leading university at Master level in business, economics, finance, or similar degrees;
  • internship experience in consulting, strategy, investment banking, or product management roles;
  • excellent English writing and communication skills; familiarity with another language, especially German, is an advantage;
  • good knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, with an interest in developing these skills further;
  • proactive, collaborative, and curious approach, with a willingness to learn;
  • strong organizational skills and the ability to manage several tasks with appropriate guidance;
  • careful and reliable working style with high attention to detail.
