The Private Label Program Manager serves as the strategic driver of Shorr’s Private Label and BOX Partners initiatives, accelerating early‑stage revenue, developing a strong and sustainable pipeline, and enabling sales teams with the knowledge and tools needed to win in the stock packaging market. This role integrates onboarding, training, market development, and private‑label leadership to achieve defined revenue and pipeline milestones throughout the first year.

Responsibilities

Market & Program Foundations

  • Build a comprehensive understanding of the BOX value proposition, product portfolio, and internal processes.
  • Develop foundational expertise in the stock packaging market, including major industry suppliers and competitive dynamics.
  • Partner with Marketing Manager to establish a consistent sales engagement cadence with representatives as directed by BOX.
  • Create targeted end‑user prospect lists and develop an implementation schedule for outreach.
  • Collaborate with BOX leadership to set initial pipeline expectations and revenue‑growth targets.

Sales Training & Enablement

  • Train and educate the commercial team on the stock packaging program, including market opportunities, product positioning, and competitive advantages.
  • Provide ongoing enablement through tools, resources, objection‑handling guidance, and product knowledge.
  • Engage consistently with Account Executives and National Accounts to advance opportunities and remove obstacles.
  • Lead internal education efforts such as training sessions, playbooks, and knowledge‑sharing to increase program adoption and private‑label mindshare. Partner with sales training team to incorporate into existing programs and playbooks.
  • Collaborate across all sales channels to ensure coordinated effort and sustained growth.
 
Private Label Product Expertise

  • Serve as Shorr’s subject matter expert for the private‑label product portfolio, supporting Sales, Marketing, and Procurement.
  • Act as the primary product expert during customer meetings, presentations, and strategic opportunities.
  • Identify customer pain points and provide meaningful product recommendations that drive conversion.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to identify product gaps, pricing opportunities, and expansion categories.
  • Partner with Marketing Manager to develop campaigns, promotions, and messaging that expand private‑label visibility and adoption.
  • Analyze product‑level data to recommend improvements and inform go‑forward growth strategies.
  • Ensure consistent branding and unified standards for packaging and messaging.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of B2B marketing/program management related experience.
  • Proven ability to build pipeline and drive revenue milestones.
  • Strong go-to-market and sales enablement skills.
  • Data-driven with strong analytical capability.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration with Sales and Product.
  • CRM and marketing automation proficiency.
  • Travel required for this position is around 20-30%

Compensation
The base pay range for this role is $100,000 – $115,000 per year.
