The Role

Join us as a Private Financing Business Management Associate

  • Supporting the Head of Private Financing in administering the business, you’ll ensure its efficient, effective, and well-controlled operation
  • We’ll look to you to support all aspects of the stewardship, strategy, and governance of the Private Financing business
  • This role offers significant variety and exposure for both you and your work

What you'll do

As a Private Financing Business Management Associate, you’ll provide business management operational support to defined areas of the Private Financing business. As such, you’ll support the delivery of Private Financing governance and controls including the remediation of risk issues and operational risk events.

In addition, you’ll:

  • Support the delivery of regular business updates covering the NatWest Markets Board, Private Financing monthly updates, and NatWest Markets wide meetings
  • Support and coordinate delivery of business commitments to central programmes as defined by Head of Private Financing Business Management, central controls, and audit teams, as well as regulatory commitments
  • Create strong relationships with first and second line functions to support implementation policy, processes, and controls, ensuring the risk and control framework in Private Financing is robust

The skills you'll need

To succeed in this role, you’ll need significant experience in front office business management, or support areas which interact closely with front office. You’ll also have a good understanding of risk and control environments, preferably within a front office context.

We’re also looking for:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • A track record of collaborative working practice, specifically across teams
  • The ability to maintain attention to detail whilst working to tight timeframes and with conflicting priorities
