POSITION OVERVIEWWe are seeking an experienced Privacy Program Coordinator to join our Privacy team in Ireland. This position will serve as a critical liaison between our Privacy/Legal teams and Product Development teams, ensuring that privacy considerations are integrated throughout the product development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will combine technical understanding with privacy knowledge to facilitate compliant product development while supporting innovation. This position will report to the Senior Legal Counsel/Data Protection Officer based in Dublin, Ireland.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Product Development Lifecycle Coordination- Work with product teams to ensure organizational practices align with privacy legislation and standards throughout the development lifecycle
- Manage product feature launch review process in close collaboration with product managers and legal team
- Gather, document, and track privacy requirements for products from initial concept through to launch
- Develop and maintain privacy documentation for products, including data maps, data flow diagrams, and privacy notices
- Support product lifecycle management process by integrating people, processes, and technologies across the enterprise
- Help identify and prioritize privacy risks in product development
- Assist in conducting privacy impact assessments and audits
- Escalate significant privacy concerns to the DPO and relevant stakeholders
- Provide practical insights about how other companies have addressed similar privacy challenges in product development
- Maintain records of privacy reviews, decisions, and implementations in product development
- Develop and maintain data inventories and mapping of personal data flows within products
- Track privacy-related product requirements through implementation and validation
- Assist with regular reporting on privacy integration in product development for the DPO and executive leadership
- Help operate and improve the organization's privacy practices and programs
- Develop and share privacy best practices for product development
- Conduct privacy training programs for product development teams
- Create and maintain privacy guidance resources for product managers and developers
- Support an organizational awareness and compliance culture
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Law, Data Privacy, or related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in privacy, compliance, or product development roles
- Demonstrated experience ensuring that organizational practices align with privacy standards
- Strong understanding of product development processes
- Knowledge of EU data protection laws, including GDPR
- Experience with privacy compliance in international contexts
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong project management expertise and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to translate complex concepts into practical implementation steps
- Privacy certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, or similar credentials
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to drive product vision and define privacy requirements
- Experience with privacy-enhancing technologies and privacy by design principles
- Experience developing business cases to inform project prioritization
- Familiarity with B2B data services, sales intelligence platforms, and/or advertising technology
