Overview of Job Function:
Act as a primary representative of the Global Privacy Office (GPO) to enable and fulfil Verint’s privacy legal obligations by promoting best practice, policy, managing privacy related records and participating within interdepartmental working groups involved in privacy related initiatives.
ResponsibilitiesPrincipal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of privacy policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with laws such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and other relevant regulations.
- Maintain records of processing activities (ROPA) as required by data protection regulations using Verint’s appointed privacy platform.
- Conduct privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) for new projects or systems involving personal data including vendor appointments.
- Refresh PIAs and DPIAs in accordance with refresh cycles.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to maintain privacy elements of multi-disciplinary records e.g. ESG and AI related records.
- Monitor and action subject access requests and respond in accordance with statutory guidelines and policies.
- Support the development and maintenance of data governance frameworks to ensure the proper handling of personal data.
- Monitor and manage data retention and deletion schedules.
- Identify and address data quality and integrity issues.
- Collaborate with the Incident Response Team to manage and document data breaches or privacy incidents.
- Support SVP Global Privacy in risk assessments related to personal data handling and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Conduct or support training sessions for employees on privacy-related topics.
- Develop and distribute awareness materials, including Learning Management System (LMS) content to promote a culture of privacy within the organization.
- Maintain and update privacy documentation, including policies, notices, and agreements.
- Participate on working groups responsible for documentation support business initiatives related to privacy.
- Prepare reports and presentations for SVP Global Privacy regarding privacy compliance status, audits, and incidents.
- Act as a point of contact for privacy-related queries from internal and external stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements:
Mandatory :
- Bachelor's degree in law or Relevant degree (e.g. LLB/LLM, Business Administration) at graduate or higher level
- 5-8 years of experience supporting corporate or commercial legal teams.
- Experience with EU and UK GDPR, US HIPAA, CCPA, CPRA
- Experience with enterprise risk and compliance management frameworks such as NIST & ISO27001
- Management of Records of Processing Activities, Cookies and related privacy records using a privacy platform preferably OneTrust
- Ability to conduct legal & other independent research using subscription services (e.g. MLEX, LEXIS NEXIS, OneTrust DataGuidance)
- Understanding of Artificial Intelligence used in enterprise software (e.g. LLMs)
- Familiarity with the EU AI Act, Colorado AI Act and similar global laws
- IT literacy including Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/Power Point, Visio)

- Working in law firm team with experience and subject matter expertise in privacy supporting international clients
- Working within large/global corporate environments involving multiple businesses across a matrix organization. Building and managing relationships at all levels of the organization.
