What You'll Do:
- Draft, review, and analyze Privacy Threshold Analyses, (PTA) Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA), and System or Records Notices (SORN)
- Support the review, update, and development of privacy policies.
- Exchange status updates, identify priorities, and discuss privacy concerns.
- Assist in the conduct of Privacy Oversight Reviews.
- Analyze and review new and emerging privacy issues, technologies, and programs to ensure appropriate privacy compliance documentation is in place to serve as risk management and accountability tools.
- Support our training program requirements organizing and administering onboarding, training, creating training and support materials, and aiding current and new staff across the agency.
- Assist in the development of privacy reports to Congress.
What You've Done:
- US Citizenship is Required
- Associate's degree and 1 year of experience in an IT environment or 3 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- 6 months of privacy-specific experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong grammar and writing skills.
- Ability to work well independently and within a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.
- Must be able to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship to get a DHS clearance
