Shift: This role is 2nd Shift, 3:00 PM-11:30 PM

Hourly Rate: $19.52 an hour + $$0.25/hour shift differential

You will work onsite at Conagra Brands Imlay City, Michigan, location - Home of Vlasic brand pickles, relish, and pepper products. This is an entry level position; you will receive on the job training. You will operate the Case Label Application equipment. You will report to Production and Team Lead. You will work afternoon shift regular hours 3:00 until 11:30 p.m. working overtime as scheduled. You will receive an hourly rate $19.52/hour plus $0.25/hour shift premium.

What will you do:

The Print/Apply Operator operates and maintains the Case Label Application units to support production need. You will operate multiple pieces of equipment. You will set up equipment, load labels and ink ribbons. You will recognize and correct inaccuracies. You will monitor quality of the finished product to meet customer standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow standard work procedures.

• Load labels and ribbons on multiple finished case labeling units.

• Enter product code into label application unit.

• Run multiple units.

• Clean and maintain the equipment.

• You will work with Quality assurance, Production and Team Lead.

• Work safely and with accuracy.

• Ensure machines and surrounding areas are kept neat and sanitary.

• Adapt to changing situations.

• Train employees.

• Complete documentation to comply with Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards.

• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

• Observe plant clean-up procedures and remain consistent with plant safety goals and procedures.
