  • Solution Architecture: Lead the design and architecture of SAP solutions, leveraging technologies such as ABAP, SAP S/4 HANA, and SAP Fiori, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance and technical leadership to project teams, overseeing the development, customization, and integration of SAP applications using ABAP programming language.
  • System Integration: Design and manage the integration of SAP systems with external applications and databases, utilizing technologies like SAP PI/PO (Process Integration/Process Orchestration) and SAP Gateway for seamless data exchange.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance issues in SAP systems by optimizing ABAP code, implementing caching mechanisms, and leveraging SAP performance monitoring tools like SAP Solution Manager.
  • Governance and Compliance: Establish and enforce governance frameworks and standards for ABAP development, ensuring compliance with SAP guidelines, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Security and Risk Management: Implement security measures and controls to protect SAP systems and data, including role-based access control (RBAC), encryption, and vulnerability management, in compliance with industry standards like ISO 27001.
  • Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including ABAP code documentation, design specifications, and configuration guides, to facilitate knowledge sharing and support system maintenance.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with SAP vendors and partners to evaluate new technologies, tools, and solutions, and manage vendor relationships to ensure the quality and timely delivery of services.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and IT teams to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the performance, scalability, and usability of SAP systems, leveraging emerging technologies, and industry trends in ABAP development and SAP ecosystem.
  • Review and optimize environment strategy for speed and efficiency.
  • Training and Development: Provide mentorship and training to junior ABAP developers and technical consultants, fostering their professional growth and expertise in SAP technologies and architecture.
  • Change Management: Lead change management efforts to facilitate the adoption of new technologies, methodologies, and processes, and minimize disruption to business operations during system upgrades, migrations, and enhancements.
  • Education & Special Trainings:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in the areas of Computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent field of study required.
  • Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 13 years of professional experience required, with at least 10 years delivering SAP solutions.
  • SAP Experience: At least 10 years of hands-on experience working with SAP technologies, including:
    • Extensive experience in SAP ABAP development, customization, and integration.
    • Proficiency in SAP modules such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP CRM, etc.
    • Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 development and SAP Cloud Platform (SCP) is a plus.
    • Knowledge of SAP integration technologies like SAP PI/PO, SAP Data Services, and SAP Cloud Integration.
  • SAP Certifications: Preferred certifications include:
    • SAP Certified Development Professional - ABAP for SAP HANA
    • SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP HANA
    • SAP Certified Technology Associate - System Administration (SAP HANA as a Database)
  • Architecture and Design: Proven experience in solution architecture and design, with a focus on SAP landscapes, including:
    • Designing scalable and high-performance SAP solutions.
    • Architecting SAP systems for cloud, hybrid, or on-premises deployments.
    • Experience with SAP system landscape transformation projects (e.g., system consolidations, migrations, upgrades).
  • Technical Leadership: Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, including:
    • Leading cross-functional teams in the design and implementation of SAP solutions.
    • Mentoring junior team members in SAP technologies, best practices, and methodologies.
  • Project Management: Experience in project management methodologies and practices, including:
    • Managing SAP projects from initiation to completion, adhering to project timelines and budgets.
    • Collaborating with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and IT teams to ensure project success.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to:
    • Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with business users, IT teams, and external partners to gather requirements and define technical solutions.
  • Continuous Learning: A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on the latest developments and trends in SAP technologies, architecture, and industry best practices.
