Duties and Responsibilities
Strategy and Planning (35%)

Deliver business value to drive sales, improve efficiency, and improve customer satisfaction

Be the leader in delivering value, strategic vision and product roadmaps for your designated products and services

Support business reviews and have the ability to present across all levels of the organization

Drive the product lifecycle from market development to market decline

Create product / business plans to determine product and service feasibility

Partner with functional and technical leaders to identify and plan capabilities necessary to meet short and long-term business needs

Develops and executes strategic plans in support of key objectives derived from the Balanced Scorecard

Drives business growth by applying domain expertise to provide thought leadership and translate vision into action

Evaluates research and market analysis, meets with third party vendors, and maintains knowledge of industry innovations and technology platforms to inform the strategy for the product

Knowing your customers by having ongoing discussions, both face to face and team meetings, and documenting these discussions for strategic review
Operations (25%)

Understands financial and business impact of proposed product updates and activities within portfolio, prioritizes updates to support the roadmap

Drives product development by reviewing performance and directing work efforts of solution architects, development, and operations to ensure products are aligned with product vision

Identifies goals, metrics, and appropriate analytics to measure the performance of the product and its individual features, and continually makes recommendations and refinements to the product based on learnings

Resolve issues within or across product teams that may impair teams form delivery of a quality product in order to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals

Drives operational excellence to create internal customer satisfaction and meet product metrics while prioritizing customer needs

Works across legal teams to develop, review and execute customer and third-party partner contracts

When necessary, create Non-Disclosure Agreements based on specific needs

- Typically requires overnight travel 10% to 15% of the time
Qualifications

Proficient in developing and maintaining product and service lifecycles
-
Proficient in defining, communicating, and driving value propositions, success metrics, and outcomes

Proficient in utilizing deep market and industry knowledge to achieve strategic objectives
-
Proficient in selecting and leading strategic vendor relationships or acting as the primary point of contract for strategic partnerships

Mentor other less senior Product Managers

Ability to articulate, verbally or with presentations, network architectures and requirements that relates to the solution at hand
Preferred Experience and Education
-
BS degree in Telecom or Business, MBA Preferred
-
More than 10 years’ experience in Product Management domain
-
Strong background in Mobile and Fixed telecom networks
-
Background in SS7 & SIP call flows and interworking of the PSTN
-
Well versed in the STIR-SHAKEN ecosystem
-
Understanding telecom infrastructure and design
-
Understand Local Exchange Routing Guide
-
Experience working with ILEC, CLEC and Wireless Customers
-
Metaswitch platforms such as QCALL, CFS, EAS, AGCF, Perimeta SBC
-
Work with Tier 1 to Tier 4 Service Providers
Key Requirements

15+ years in the Communications industry, or other relevant industry experience
-
Excellent written and communication skills

Strong verbal communication skills and written presentation skills

Strong experience with MS Office Suite (word, power point, excel & Visio)
