Role Description:
We are looking for an Instock Manager with a track record in the supply chain field. He/She will be responsible for the E2E inventory management with a view to fulfilling customers’ needs at optimal cost and delivery leadtime. The ideal candidate is a problem solver who is willing to take up challenges, drive changes, having grit, be passionate, having the entrepreneurial spirit, and can contribute to developing a high performing business. He/She will be expected to communicate and negotiate with various internal and external parties to deliver results to wow customers.
What You Will Do:
- Provide excellent customer shopping experience at optimal cost through:
- Supplier & Order Management: Coordinate and negotiate with suppliers to make sure items are instocked on time, at a right condition and at a right quantity.
- Stock Management: Manage stocks under different classes and different categories. Minimize issues such as out of stock and write off.
- Supply Chain Management: Build, plan and improve the E2E supply chain network with our logistics service providers, making sure orders are delivered to our customers on time at perfect condition.
- Operational Excellence: Continuously improve the E2E operations, as if this is your own business.
- You will be working closely with various internal and external teams such as brand management, supply chain management, product management, marketing and merchandizing, customer service, technical development, procurement, legal and compliance, suppliers and logistics service providers to drive operational excellence
Responsibilities
- As a great communicator and negotiator, the ideal candidate will have good business judgment and analytical horsepower to break down complex problems and the willingness to roll up sleeves
- Strong negotiator that can build and execute a negotiation strategy. Understands various P&L levers used in a negotiation and associated trade-offs.
- Always ensures business goals and plans are in line with “Wowing the Customer.” Never sacrifices customer experience for short-term goal
- Support internal partners in driving change, removing roadblocks and increasing participation by local Sellers with respect to the Coupang Global Selling business.
- Work with internal partners to meet cost-effective, leadtime-effective and quality needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in business or supply chain.
- 8+ years of supply chain and operations experience.
- Familiar with process improvement techniques such as Six Sigma, Lean and Kaizen.
- Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English. Korean is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Fruitful experience in using different kinds of analytical tools.
- Experience in SQL & VBA is a strong plus.
- Ability to prioritize work and to find a way in a complex, fast-paced environment.
