As an AI Engineer, you are passionate about working with modern software engineering practices, Agentic AI, and GenAI and ready to drive the development and scaling of distributed agentic AI solutions, from concept to production. In this newly set-up team, you will work closely with data scientists and product owners, to build multi‑agent frameworks and to orchestrate interactions between agents. Your work will ensure robust, scalable AI capabilities that are integrated within the bank to deliver real business impact.
About the Team
You will join a growing, cross-functional analytics and engineering environment where collaboration, learning, and technical excellence are core. The team works closely with data scientists, product owners, and business partners to deliver AI-driven solutions that are embedded into critical banking processes. As a Principal Engineer, you will actively mentor and guide engineers within the team, helping raise engineering standards and best practices. You will work closely with Product Owners in product‑related discussions, contributing to solution design, planning, and prioritization to ensure technical decisions support business outcomes and long‑term sustainability.

You bring principal‑level engineering seniority and feel comfortable operating across technology, product, and business domains. You combine strong technical depth with leadership and communication skills. You recognize yourself in the following:
Strong verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical topics

Experience designing and running production‑grade ML systems, including monitoring and observability
Strong experience with cloud platforms ,preferably GCP, or very strong experience on another major cloud provider
Experience designing systems using cloud‑based managed services
Practical knowledge of microservices architectures, REST / gRPC APIs, and async programming models
Experience with Infrastructure‑as‑Code (e.g. Terraform)
Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment practices
Hands‑on experience with agentic AI frameworks (ADK, LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI) and multi‑agent workflows (strong plus)
Strong engineering discipline around version control, testing, documentation, and code reviews
Comfortable working closely with data scientists, data analysts, product owners, and SMEs in newly set‑up or evolving teams
Able to bridge business intent and engineering execution to deliver scalable, production‑ready AI solutions

Affinity with traditional ML model training and testing
Basic understanding of Java / Kotlin for connectivity with internal systems

Familiarity with event‑driven architectures
