Rocket is seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager, Data Infrastructure to lead enterprise scale data infrastructure integration, modernization, and operational excellence programs. This role involves partnering with teams like Data Infrastructure, Security, and Enterprise Architecture to align platforms, operating practices, and migration roadmaps in a complex enterprise environment. The initial focus is on integrating and modernizing data infrastructure capabilities across Rocket and affiliated platforms, specifically improving operational maturity, reliability, security alignment, compliance readiness, cloud adoption, and business continuity. The ideal candidate is a senior technical program leader expert in data infrastructure, on-premise to cloud migration, AWS, and Snowflake, who can create structure in ambiguous environments, coordinate many teams, and translate complex technical programs into measurable business impact.
About the role
Lead cross-functional data infrastructure integration and modernization programs across Rocket and affiliated business platforms.
Develop and maintain multi-quarter roadmaps that balance platform modernization, operational maturity, security alignment, compliance readiness, cloud adoption, and business continuity.
Partner with engineering and infrastructure teams to assess current-state capabilities, identify opportunities for improvement, and define practical execution plans.
Drive alignment across teams on standards, priorities, dependencies, risks, milestones, ownership, and measurable outcomes.
Support migration and modernization programs involving on-premise data infrastructure, AWS, Snowflake, and related enterprise data platforms.
Help define and implement operational standards for incident management, change management, monitoring, alerting, backup and recovery, patching, documentation, access management, and service ownership.
Work with Security, Risk, Compliance, Enterprise Architecture, and Engineering teams to align data infrastructure platforms with enterprise standards.
Build metrics and reporting mechanisms that show progress across technical execution, operational maturity, reliability, compliance readiness, and business value.
Develop executive-level reporting that clearly communicates program status, risks, tradeoffs, decisions needed, and outcomes delivered.
Establish durable operating cadences for roadmap reviews, dependency tracking, risk reviews, milestone reporting, and stakeholder communication.
About you
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of experience in technical program management, infrastructure program leadership, data platform programs, cloud migration, or related technical delivery roles.
Experience leading complex technical programs across multiple teams, functions, or business units.
Strong understanding of data infrastructure concepts, including databases, data warehouses, data platforms, storage, compute, backup/recovery, operational support, and production reliability.
Experience supporting or leading on-premise to cloud migration programs.
Experience working with AWS or similar public cloud infrastructure platforms.
Strong understanding of enterprise security, compliance, operational controls, risk management, and infrastructure standards.
Experience defining roadmaps, success metrics, program health indicators, executive reporting, and measurable outcomes.
Proven ability to create structure in ambiguous environments and drive execution through influence.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical work into clear business outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in financial services, mortgage, banking, lending, insurance, or other regulated enterprise environments.
Experience leading programs across acquired, merged, or affiliated business environments.
Familiarity with database and data platform technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, Snowflake, Oracle, Postgres, Redshift, Aurora, Cassandra, MongoDB, or similar platforms.
Familiarity with AWS infrastructure patterns and services, including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC networking, FSx, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, backup/recovery, security logging, and enterprise account governance.
Experience partnering with InfoSec, Risk, Compliance, Audit, Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Governance, and Data Engineering teams.
Experience building operational maturity models, infrastructure standards, platform governance mechanisms, or enterprise operating models.
Experience with Snowflake migration, adoption, operations, or data platform modernization.
Experience with FinOps, cloud cost management, infrastructure modernization, or platform consolidation.

The compensation information below is provided in compliance with all applicable job posting disclosure requirements. The compensation for this position is $149,000.00-$318,000.00. The position may also be eligible for an annual bonus, incentives, and other employment-related benefits including, but not limited to, medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401K retirement plan, and paid-time off.
