Cerebras Systems builds the world's largest AI chip, 56 times larger than GPUs. Our novel wafer-scale architecture provides the AI compute power of dozens of GPUs on a single chip, with the programming simplicity of a single device. This approach allows Cerebras to deliver industry-leading training and inference speeds and empowers machine learning users to effortlessly run large-scale ML applications, without the hassle of managing hundreds of GPUs or TPUs.
Cerebras' current customers include global corporations across multiple industries, national labs, and top-tier healthcare systems. In January, we announced a multi-year, multi-million-dollar partnership with Mayo Clinic, underscoring our commitment to transforming AI applications across various fields. In August, we launched Cerebras Inference, the fastest Generative AI inference solution in the world, over 10 times faster than GPU-based hyperscale cloud inference services.
The Cerebras Inference Service team is seeking an accomplished Principal Technical Program Manager (TPM) to help scale the AI cloud that powers inference on some of the world’s most advanced AI models. We are a fast-growing, execution-driven organization responsible for building and operating Cerebras Inference: the world's fastest AI inference service.
In this role, you will own end-to-end program leadership for our Inference Service organization, driving highly complex cross-functional initiatives across engineering, product, operations, and customer-facing teams. You will bring structure, clarity, and predictable execution to a rapidly evolving environment while influencing senior leaders and guiding teams through ambiguity.
We are looking for an experienced TPM leader with a strong track record of scaling products and services, driving large multi-quarter programs, and managing TPMs in high-growth environments. The ideal candidate is proactive, operationally rigorous, and highly collaborative.
ResponsibilitiesLead organizational quarterly planning, including roadmap facilitation, dependency management, and alignment across engineering and product.
Own execution tracking, risk management, and reporting across the Inference Service org, driving clarity and accountability.
Partner closely with engineering, product, operations, and go-to-market teams to ensure seamless cross-functional execution and timely delivery.
- Serve as a key member of the Inference Service leadership team, working directly with principal engineers, engineering directors, and cross-org leaders.
Build, hire, manage, and grow a small but high-performing TPM team, mentoring and setting standards across technical program management.
Drive improvement of execution frameworks, operational processes, and cross-functional communication as the organization scales.
- B.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- 7+ years of TPM experience, preferably with focus on datacenter infrastructure
- Experience with AI infrastructure and related technologies is a plus
- Experience with data center equipment, including servers, networking, and storage is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, teamwork, and can-do attitude
- Clear and detailed documentation skills
- Experience working with geographically dispersed teams across time zones
- Proficiency with Jira or similar tool

What We Do
Cerebras Systems is a team of pioneering computer architects, computer scientists, deep learning researchers, functional business experts and engineers of all types. We have come together to build a new class of computer to accelerate artificial intelligence work by three orders of magnitude beyond the current state of the art.
The CS-2 is the fastest AI computer in existence. It contains a collection of industry firsts, including the Cerebras Wafer Scale Engine (WSE-2). The WSE-2 is the largest chip ever built. It contains 2.6 trillion transistors and covers more than 46,225 square millimeters of silicon. The largest graphics processor on the market has 54 billion transistors and covers 815 square millimeters. In artificial intelligence work, large chips process information more quickly producing answers in less time. As a result, neural networks that in the past took months to train, can now train in minutes on the Cerebras CS-2 powered by the WSE-2.
