As a Principal Technical Program Manager in Corporate Technology - Corporate Oversight and Governance you will lead complex, multi-functional technology projects and programs that will impact experiences for multiple groups across the firm, including clients, employees, and stakeholders. Your advanced analytical reasoning and adaptability skills will enable you to break down business, technical, and operational objectives into manageable tasks, while navigating through ambiguity and driving change. With demonstrated technical fluency, you will effectively manage resources, budgets, and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that align with the firm's strategic goals. Your exceptional communication and influencing abilities will foster productive relationships with stakeholders, ensuring alignment and effective risk management. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the development of new policies and processes, shaping the future of our technology landscape.
The Corporate Oversight and Governance Technology team is dedicated to supporting five critical firmwide control functions: Legal, Controls, Compliance, Audit, and Resiliency. This role is pivotal in focusing on the development and enhancement of common technical capabilities, ensuring that strategic initiatives are effectively formulated and managed. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the management of each project, with the goal of delivering scalable and reusable solutions that align with the organization's objectives.
Key responsibilities include collaborating closely with various engineering teams to develop comprehensive strategies and ensuring seamless execution across all projects. The role also involves managing the overall program status, providing detailed and insightful reports to senior management to facilitate informed decision-making. This position requires a proactive approach to governance and oversight, ensuring that all technical solutions are robust, efficient, and aligned with the firm's long-term goals.
Job responsibilities

  • Navigate a complex landscape across Corporate Oversight and Governance Technology's ecosystem, as well as communicate the impact to business and technology
  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap to support the organization's strategy, aligning with overall business goals and objectives
  • Oversee end-to-end program execution, ensuring the successful delivery of initiatives/solutions on time and within budget
  • Facilitate collaboration among diverse teams (incl Engineering Software and UX teams) to drive the development of solutions to support multiple businesses
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring that potential challenges are proactively addressed to minimize disruptions
  • Establish and maintain clear communication channels with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, measuring success and addressing concerns
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, fostering innovation and efficiency in processes through regular evaluation and adaptation
  • Ensure that projects adhere to technology controls, legal and ethical standards
  • Utilize lean agile processes and methodologies to work in an agile environment and support the development of solutions


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • In depth experience in program management, overseeing projects from initiation to completion
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with the technical aspects of agile, enabling effective communication with technical teams
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and align initiatives with broader organizational objectives
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams towards common goals
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to address challenges and find creative solutions in a dynamic environment
  • Understanding of AI/ML and the opportunities that can be leveraged for COGT businesses is a plus.
