The work is high-impact, highly visible, and ideal for someone who understands hyperscale infrastructure and wants to shape what comes next.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and evolve a data center-scale logical model to evaluate future SSD product scenarios
  • Integrate workload data, telemetry, and benchmarks into performance, power, and cost models
  • Model hyperscaler tradeoffs across compute, memory, storage, and interconnect to inform product strategy
  • Analyze AI infrastructure components including GPUs, DDR5, HBM, CXL, and NVMe storage systems
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership and partner cross-functionally across architecture and engineering

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 10+ years of experience
  • Experience working in hyperscale data centers or large cloud environments with understanding of infrastructure at scale
  • Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, or similar for building modeling and analysis tools
  • Deep knowledge of data center architecture including compute, memory, storage, power, and interconnect systems
  • Experience communicating complex technical insights to executive stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
  • Experience building system-level performance, power, or cost models using real-world data
  • Background in SSD or DRAM engineering, characterization, or performance analysis
  • Familiarity with simulators or platforms such as QEMU, gem5, Simics, PCIe, or memory subsystems
  • Track record of building internal tools or contributing to systems architecture or performance research
