Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is seeking a Level 3 or Level 4 Program Cost, Schedule, and Control Analyst to support the Business Management team as part of the Platform Systems Modernization (PSM) Operating Unit (OU) on-site in Lake Charles, LA.
The Level 3 or Level 4 Program Cost Schedule & Control Analyst will interface with program managers, functional management, control account managers (CAMS), and business managers to provide financial support and analysis of various programs to achieve financial and strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, cost forecasts, and variance explanations
- Develop, review, and analyze cash flow forecasts
- Prepare quarterly estimates-at-complete (EAC)
- Manage the preparation, validation, and submission of required DoD Cost and Software Data Reporting (CSDR) deliverables
- Perform cost and schedule risk assessments to assist program in identifying risks and establishing risk mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with the program management to develop Annual Operating Plans (AOP) and Long-Range Strategic Plans (LRSP)
- Assist with compiling, forecasting, and managing applicable indirect rates and budgets
- Performs analysis and prepares reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
- Monitor budgets for contract work and performs or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis
- Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government
- Build partnerships with program personnel to support program execution while maintaining compliant EVMS implementation in accordance with the EVMS System Description
Basic Qualifications Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst (Level 3):
- This position emphasizes skills and experience. Will consider High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 6 years of business, finance, and/or program control experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline with a minimum of 5 years related experience
- OR Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline with 3 years of related experience
- Strong computer skills with high-level Excel skills, specifically the ability to work with pivot tables, lookup functions, and conditional formatting
- Must be able to work on-site (Lake Charles, LA)
- Must be able to travel as required (up to 10% of the time)
Basic Qualifications Sr Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst (Level 4):
- High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 12 years of business, finance, and/or program control experience
- Or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline with a minimum of 8 years of business, finance, and/or program control experience
- OR Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline with 6 years of related experience
- Strong computer skills with high-level Excel skills, specifically the ability to work with pivot tables, lookup functions, and conditional formatting
- Must be able to work on-site (Lake Charles, LA)
